BRAND STRATEGY

The Hygge Cafe project required a full brand design including logo design, building signage, print collateral and promotional items such as cups, bags and apparel. 

As the theme for the cafe was based on the Dainsh concept of Hygge (loosley translated as the quality of coziness and conviviality), the brand design utilized a clean and simple, Norwegian aesthetic that is enhanced by the warmth of natural wood, the coolness of greenery and the rich colors of the cafe’s food and beverages. This is demonstrated by the stylish, yet simple lines of the black and white logo featuring a nordic-style font and a hot, cozy beverage, enhanced on print collatoral with inviting images of rich food and cozy soft furnishings.
